Carole Ann Lewis (77) of Tower Hill

Carole Ann Lewis, 77, of Tower Hill, Illinois went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at her residence.
Carole Ann was born on July 24, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Herbert and Bessie (Hatcher) Fenton.
She married Alva E. (Gene) Lewis on August 24, 1962.
Carole Ann enjoyed scrapbooking, books, old movies, walking in the rain and snow, visiting with her Ohio family, and trips to Savannah and Tybee Island, Georgia.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; sons, Shawn Lewis of Windsor, IL and Darryl (Denise) Lewis of Flanagan, IL; and her special gift from God, grandson, Caleb of Flanagan, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters, and four brothers.
She was a long time member of the Tower Hill Free Methodist Church and a participant of the Cowden Free Methodist Family Camp where she and her husband resided as caretakers for 18 years.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Tower Hill Cemetery with Pastor Archie Fox officiating. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Carole Ann asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation might be considered to Hope Lodge at 4215 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO, 63108 or to the American Cancer Society.
