Ron proudly served two tours of duty in the United States Army with the 23rd Artillery Group during the Vietnam War. His presence was known by his boisterous laugh, contagious smile, and booming voice. Ron was fiercely independent, adventurous, and loyal. There never was a card game he’d pass up and he wasn't shy about being the winner.  If you were ever lost and needed directions (and even if you didn’t) Ron was your man – he might even make you a quilt. Ron's compassion and huge heart will continue to make a lasting impression on the lives he touched.
