Judy L. Habing, 77 of Effingham, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with burial in Ramsey Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the donor’s choice. *Due to Covid-19 concerns, please follow all social distancing and facial covering guidelines. 

Judy was born June 13, 1943 in Effingham, the daughter of Russell and Mildred (Beals) Tarrant. She married Raymond Habing on July 4, 1970 and he survives. Judy loved visiting flea markets, garage sales and attending antique tractor shows with her family. She savored the time she spent with them. Judy enjoyed tending to her flowers and listening to Elvis Presley, whom she was a big fan of. 

Judy is survived by her husband, Raymond Habing of Effingham; sons, Kevin (Connie), Jackie and Jason (Robin) Habing, all of Effingham; sisters, Virginia Antrim of Effingham, Pat (Bob) Bushue of Mason and Karen (Bill) Schaefer of Effingham; grandchildren, Amber (Leon) Burry of Effingham, Holly (Brian) Lewis of Wheeler, David (Kaiti) Steben of Neoga, Cassy (Steven) Caraway of Edgewood, Kevin M. (Kami) Habing of Altamont and Aaron Kruger of Altamont; great-grandchildren, Mia Burry, John Cundiff, Emma Cundiff, Carley Lewis, Chloe Winter, Jasper Steben, Isabelle Habing, Remington Workman and Oaklie Habing.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Michael Ray; grandchildren, Hank Habing and Aisley Jo Steben; brother-in-law, Frank Antrim.
