Roselle Olga McClure, 86, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at her home.
Private family funeral services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham with Rev. Gary Fortkamp officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Effingham. Roselle was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Effingham, IL. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Food Pantry, St. John’s Lutheran Church Library or the donor’s choice. Roselle was born on September 24, 1934, in St. Peter, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Vera (Wickie) Hollmann. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Peter, IL. She married Bruce McClure on December 4, 1954. They were blessed with five children; Pat, Deb, Karen, Tarry and Larry. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1983.
She is survived by daughters, Pat (Don) Wendte of Watson, Deb McClure of Effingham, Karen (Lee) Hartman of Shumway, and Tarry (Dan) Norris of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Larry (Wanda) McClure of Sullivan; 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Edith Culver and Marcelline Lotz; brothers, Leon Hollmann and Elno Hollmann; and great-grandchild, Kyler Marshall.
