Joyce A. Ballinger, 78, of Stewardson, Illinois, passed away at 3:45 AM Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in her residence.
She was born February 3, 1942 in Shelby County, Illinois the daughter of Fred and Dot (Litherland) Haverstock. She married Raymond D. Ballinger February 25, 1961 in Strasburg, Illinois, Ray passed away January 4, 2018. Joyce was a Homemaker and also worked at Petty Printing in Effingham, Illinois.
Mrs. Ballinger leaves her Children, Scott Ballinger (Cindy) of Stewardson, Illinois, Steve Ballinger of Trowbridge, Illinois, Dorothy Long (Robert) of Stewardson, Illinois, Jim Ballinger (Michelle) of Toledo, Illinois and Judy Brown and special friend Bill Karlovic of Joliet, Illinois; eleven grandchildren ; fourteen great grandchildren plus one on the way; brother, Bob Haverstock (Lilly) of Allenville, Illinois.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Raymond; daughter, Daisy; brothers, Fritz Haverstock and David Haverstock.

A Celebration of Joyce’s Life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday January 23, 2021 in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Stewardson Cemetery in Stewardson, Illinois.
