Mrs. Mossie L. Decker, age 92 of Greenup, IL passed away at 7:45 PM Thursday, March 21st, 2013 at Cumberland Rehab and Health Care Center in Greenup, IL.

Funeral services celebrating Mossie’s life will be held at 11:00 AM – Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL. Burial will be in the Jack Oak Cemetery in rural Greenup, IL. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM – Monday, March 25, 2013 at the funeral home. In loving memory of Mossie, memorials may be made to the Jack Oak Church.

Mossie was born on September 16, 1920 in Springfield, TN the daughter of Ewing J. and Aubrey Jane (Harlan) Osburn. She married Paul C. Decker on July 24, 1943 at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, AL and he preceded her in death on January 16, 1987.
Mossie was a Registered Nurse and had worked the old Charleston Hospital and Hilltop Care. Mossie attended Jack Oak Church of God was a member of the Red Hatters. She enjoyed raising flowers and spending time with her family.

Children – Carolyn (Darrell) Ferris of Greenup, IL, Paul (Anne) Decker of Marion, IL, Jeff (Angie) Decker of Greenup, IL

Sisters – Barbara Ashbranner of Springfield, TN, Melba Rainwater of Adams, TN

11 Grandchildren 16 Great Grandchildren

Mossie was preceded in death by her parents, sister Kathryn Fetterolf and a brother Ewing L. Osburn.
