Ethel Mae Kline, age 84, of Farina, Illinois passed away at 5:18 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at her granddaughter’s home, surrounded by her family, in Mason, Illinois.

There will be a visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2020 at the Full Gospel Church in Edgewood, Illinois. A celebration of life will follow the visitation. Jim Helm will be officiating. Ethel was born on March 30, 1936 in Effingham County, Illinois, the daughter of Foster Elwood and Charlotte “Lottie” (Davis) Stroud. She married John Marshall McCarty on June 30, 1952; to this union, two children were born. She then married Harold Kline on September 10, 1976. She was a member of Edgewood Full Gospel Church in Edgewood, Illinois. Ethel loved flowers, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Kline (husband Jerry) of Farina, Illinois and Dinah Boehm (husband Iven) of Shelbyville, Illinois; grandchildren, Amy Geiler (husband Brent) of Kinmundy, Illinois, Susan Logan (husband Brad) of Mason, Illinois, Jeriann Peter (husband Mark) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Caleb Kline (wife Krissie) of Paducah, Kentucky, Joey Kline of Washington, Indiana, Kerry Kline of Farina, Illinois, Ryan Ballard (wife Crystal) of Louisville, Illinois, Erica Loy (husband Jackson) of Beecher City, Illinois, Whitney Young of Christopher, Illinois; great-grandchildren, Trent and Jordan Geiler of Kinmundy, Illinois, Mariah Logan of Louisville, Illinois, Mallory Bailey (husband Mason) of Xenia, Illinois, Jakob Logan of Mason, Illinois, Alexandria and Andrew Peter of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joshua, Derek, and Katie Kline of Paducah, Kentucky, Hanna, Collyn, Miah, and William Ballard of Louisville, Illinois, Kirsten, Koda, Kyra, and Bote Loy of Beecher City, Illinois, Jameson Young of Christopher, Illinois, Tristin Duncan of Effingham, Illinois; great great-grandchild, Posie Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Foster and Lottie Stroud; husband, Harold Kline; several brothers and sisters; granddaughter, Cinnamon Kline; grandson, Jeremiah Colman.
