Clifford Davis, age 92, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away at 7:50 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his home in St. Elmo, Illinois.

There will be a public walk-through viewing from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Elmo, Illinois. There will be a graveside service following at Maplewood Cemetery in St. Elmo, Illinois. Jim Giffin will be officiating. Memorials may go to the donor’s choice. Cliff was born on August 3, 1928 in St. Elmo, Illinois, the son of Pearl and Mary Jane (Mills) Davis. He married Ardeth Blurton on February 28, 1955 in St. Elmo, Illinois. Cliff served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a quiet man that enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his sons, Bradley Davis of St. Elmo, Illinois and Randy Davis (wife Jill) of Normal, Illinois; sisters, Ruth Yockey of North Carolina, Gertrude Garrison of Missouri, and Edna Wright (husband Oliver) of St. Elmo, Illinois; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Mary Jane Davis; and grandson, Robert Clifford Davis.
