Alice Rajean Colclasure, 87, of Flora, and formerly of Clay City passed away at 7:30 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the Flora Gardens in Flora.

Alice was born on February 14, 1933, in Oskaloosa, the daughter of the late Orval Ray and Ina (Lindsey) Owens. She married Orville A. Colclasure on June 25, 1950 in Kentucky and they shared 65 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on July 20, 2015. Mrs. Colclasure was a factory worker having worked at the International Shoe factory in Flora. She loved to cook and gardening but her true love was her family and taking care of them.

Alice is survived by her children; Brent (Beth) Colclasure, of Champaign, Illinois, Bruce (Doris) Colclasure, of Clay City, Brock Colclasure, of Clay City, Brena (Joe) Blanchard, of Flora, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother; Russell Wayne Owens, of Flora.

Mrs. Colclasure was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Graveside services honoring the life of Alice will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Oskaloosa Cemetery with Julie Thompson officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the McGriff & Triplett Funeral Home in Louisville where friends may call from 12 Noon to 2 PM. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
