Judith Marie (Myers) Heffel, age 67, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 at her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

There will be a private family and close friends graveside service at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Cemetery. Tom Fedrigon will be officiating. Memorials may go to the donor’s choice. Judith was born July 6, 1953 in St. Elmo, Illinois, the daughter on James W. “Curly” and Naomi R. (Willings) Myers. She married Terry Heffel on July 14, 1972 at the First Christian Church in St. Elmo, Illinois. She graduated from St. Elmo Highschool and continued her education at Kaskaskia School of Nursing. Judith loved to play pool and was on a pool league; she also loved fishing and was an avid lover of dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Heffel of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brothers, Charles Myers (wife Mary) of St. Elmo, Illinois, Edward Myers (companion Linda Kilzer) of St. Elmo, Illinois, and James Allen Myers (wife Mary) of Altamont, Illinois; sister-in-law, Dorinda Myers of St. Elmo, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Curly” and Naomi Myers; and one brother, Michael Myers.
