Judy was born on July 5, 1940 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Glenn R Bunting and Elizabeth Jane (Armstrong). She married John Schnepper on April 17, 1971 in Olney.

Judy was always on the go, bringing light to the lives of all that she came in contact with.

For most of her life she was a cosmetologist, photographer, and artist. She dedicated most of her free time to her family and community.

Judy was on the Board of the Olney Arts Council for 14 years where she acted as the Chairwoman of the Visual Arts Committee. She was also Co-Chairwoman of the Olney Fall Festival where she dedicated countless hours of her time to ensure that everything was just right for the public. Judy also dedicated her time to the Richland County Fair by judging 4H projects and assisting with the County Fair Queen Pageant.

Judy was a volunteer at her home church – Immanuel United Methodist Church - in countless ways. She was the membership secretary for many years and helped grow the Outreach Meals Program which was a mission that prepared Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for the community. When Judy and John began volunteering with the program when it only served 35-40 meals on Christmas, now the program serves 1000 meals at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She went above and beyond to help everyone that she possibly could in this community.

Judy’s talents and efforts have enriched our small community in countless ways.

She will be deeply missed.
