Gregory S. Doyle (37) of Altamont

Gregory S. Doyle, 37, of Altamont, died at 8:35 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2020 in rural Effingham.

A family funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be for 2 hours prior to service time (Noon until 2:00). Memorials may be made to the Crisis Intervention organization of the donors’ choosing. Suggestions will be available at the funeral home. COVID-19 protocol will be required. This includes but is not limited to face covering and social distancing. Face covering will be required for entry and the number of visitors allowed to enter will be limited. Please be respectful of the health and safety of others.

Gregory Scott Doyle was born on Tuesday, April 12, 1983 in Hazel Crest, Illinois to Scott L. and Jody D. (Stewart) Doyle. He was employed by The Rubbish Gobbler, Effingham.

Left to mourn his passing are his mother, Jody Doyle of Altamont; brothers Jeff Doyle of St. Elmo and Brad Doyle of Kankakee; paternal grandmother Grace Doyle of South Chicago Heights and nieces and nephews; Lily, Alice, Ally, Brad, Jr. and Allen Doyle, Aiden Rose, Zepplin Sheehan, Alyssa and Bryar Ruholl.
