Phyllis F. Miller, 95, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Willowbrook in Effingham, IL.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, immediate family only funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Effingham. Services are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham.

Phyllis was born on August 30, 1924, in Effingham County, the daughter of Fred and Caroline (Joergens) Brink. She married Arnold A. Miller on May 30, 1942. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2008.
Phyllis was a homemaker and a great mother of six. She had a love for family, especially her grandchildren. Phyllis made sure she attended all sporting events of all her grandchildren. She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, singing in the choir, and teaching Sunday school and Bible school. Phyllis and her husband Arnold enjoyed traveling to the many reunions for the 95th Infantry Division that he belonged to. Phyllis also enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Les (Norma) Miller of rural Effingham; daughters, Carolyn Hibdon-Lambert, Diana Miller, and Janice (Chuck) Cunningham all of Effingham, and Debby (Darrell) Bartimus of Watson; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Dino Anselmo of St. Charles, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Peggy Anselmo; great-great-grandson, Elijah Lobb; and sisters, Lorraine Stortzum and Norma Lee Burton.
