Charles Bruce Christionson (69) of Altamont

Charles Bruce Christionson, age 69, of Altamont, Illinois, passed away at 11:44 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at the Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, Illinois with a two-hour visitation prior to service. Jim Giffin will be officiating. Burial will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, St. Elmo, Illinois with military rites. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed by clicking here.
Charles was born on May 26, 1951, in Avena Township, the son of Beulah (Blankenship) Harper. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved gardening, woodworking, and building things. Charles always wanted to be on the go.
Charles is survived by two sons, Ashley Christionson (wife Star) of Kinmundy, Illinois, Patrick Christionson (wife Amanda) of Brownstown, Illinois; two daughters, Melinda Wayne of Catawissa, Missouri, Brezzy Higgins (husband Eddie) of Altamont, Illinois; 22 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Harper; brother, Carl Christionson; son in law, Christopher Wayne; and one grandson, Max Ledbetter.
