Arthur Bernard “Butch” Tauber, III, age 59, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 5:45 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at his home.
Private services will be held with burial in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Newton, Illinois. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left by clicking here.
Arthur Bernard Tauber, III, better known as “Butch” was born on March 26, 1961, in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Arthur “Art” Bernard Tauber Jr. and Jacqueline Menke Tauber. Butch graduated from Newton Community High School in 1979. He was a salesman for BDI in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, for many years. Butch was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton, Illinois. He enjoyed drawing, metal sculpting, collecting and shooting guns.
Butch is survived by: Daughter, Jacqueline P. Tauber of Cincinnati, Ohio; Mother, Jackie Tauber of Newton, Illinois; Siblings, Michelle (Terry) Varvil of Carbondale, Illinois, Paula (Joe) Schoonover of Newton, Illinois, Mark Tauber of Mahomet, Illinois, and Daniel (Donna) Tauber of Spiceland, Indiana.
Butch was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
