Marjorie M. Milby (74) of Shelbyville

Marjorie M. Milby, 74, of Shelbyville, IL passed away at home on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 with her loved ones by her side.

Marjorie was born on December 14, 1944, in Shelby County, the daughter of Earl and Helen (Walborn) Mose. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1962. Marjorie and Joseph Floyd Milby were united in holy matrimony on June 25, 1965 and he preceded her in death in March of 1991. Through the years she worked at Guy’s Steak House, Hardees, McDonalds and Freda’s in Tower Hill. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing bingo and quilting.

Surviving are her children: Amy (Joe) Adams of Cowden, Bill (Emily) Milby of Mode, Wes Milby of Springfield, MO and John (Heather) Milby of Pana; grandchildren: Brandon Adams (Jessie), Tasha (Donny) McAdams, Laura Milby, Andrea Milby, Vanessa Williams, Gracie Jo Milby, Quintan Miller, Caleb Miller, Zadie Miller and Mallory Miller; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Delores (Glen) Blackwell of Shelbyville and Janet (Bob) Randolph of Murphysboro and special friend, Bob Giberson of Lakewood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers Gaylord and David Mose.

Private family burial will take place in Glenwood Cemetery. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville is assisting the family.
