Paul Richard Hawker, age 61, Hazel Dell, IL passed away unexpectedly at 4:38 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2019 at SSM Health DePaul Hospital, Bridgeton, MO.

He was born June 9, 1958 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of William Howard Hawker and Clella Maxine Taylor Hawker. On June 20, 1997 he married Dorothy Kay Herboth in Cumberland County, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Dottie Hawker of Hazel Dell, IL; son, Dustin Michael Painter of Toledo, IL; daughter, Tiffani Duvall (Darrin) of Toledo, IL; son, Elijah Hawker of Charleston, IL; son, Logan Hawker of Hazel Dell, IL; grandchildren, Riley, Everett and Maverick Duvall; sister, Barbara Hawker of Martinsville, IL; sister, Shelby Hawker of Casey, IL; sister in law, Janice Warren of Beecher, IL; brothers in law, Don Herboth (JoAnn) of Altamont, IL; Carl Herboth (Inge) of Altamont, IL; John Morris of Bradley, IL; Frank Herboth (Marsha) of Watson, IL; sisters in law, Joan Eggers of Funkhouser, IL; Louise Nuxoll (Tom) of Effingham, IL; Jeanette Barr (Allen) of Funkhouser, IL; Paula Strunk (Randy) of Funkhouser, IL; Rose Herboth of Ellington, MO; Kathy McGuire (Mike) of Edgewood, IL; Becky Adams (Jake) of Altamont, IL; Marti Breer (Gary) of Teutopolis, IL and Mindy Sayne of Bloomington, IL; his Church family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Berl Warren, Jr.; brothers in law, Kenny Eggers and Mike Herboth and sister in law, Dolores Morris.

Paul was a 1976 graduate of Casey High School. He was a faithful member of Hazel Dell Church of Christ. Paul was the proud owner of Hawker Welding Shop in Hazel Dell, IL and drove a truck for FedEx Freight.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 22 at Hazel Dell Church of Christ, Hazel Dell, IL with David Hickox officiating. Burial will follow in Hazel Dell North Cemetery, Hazel Dell, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
