Flora June West, 86, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 25 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Linda Trent officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to OneHope Ministry, Pompano Beach, FL or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.

June was born on July 3, 1933 in Cowden, IL, the daughter of Kenneth George and Mildred Grace (Kroninger) DeVore. She married Floyd West and they enjoyed 46 years of marriage. June’s love of Gospel and Country Music led her to help establish the Twilighters, a monthly Sunday evening music program in Shelbyville, IL. She was a member of the Fourth Street United Methodist Church, where she was active in Bible Study.

She is survived by her three children, Connie Cutler of Shelbyville, IL, Richard West (Brenda) of Mattoon, IL and Ramona Hazen of Shelbyville, IL: brother, Jack DeVore of Orrville, CA; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and special friend, Donald Hanson of Shelbyville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Floyd.
