Daniel O. Lewis Jr., 68, of Louisville, passed away at 1:01 pm on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Clay County Hospital in Flora.

He was born on January 16, 1951 in Tuscola, the son of the late Catherine Isabelle (Brooks) and Daniel O. Lewis Sr. He married Pamela Cooper on November 21, 1987 in Ingraham and she survives. Mr. Lewis was a skilled cabinet maker in the area for several years. He enjoyed fixing things and making things run like new again. His greatest love was his family and the time spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Pam, he is survived by three sons; Brandon (Erin) Helm of Flora, William (Christal) Lewis of Cisne and Daniel Evan (Emily) Lewis of Ingraham, two daughters; Jennifer (Doug) Henson of Flora and Jorie (John) Fulk of Noble, a brother; Donald “Donnie” E. Lewis of Clay City, sixteen grandchildren; Miles, Andrew, Tristan, Max, Mallory, Jace, Parker, Wyatt, Lane, Chloe, Brylin, Chance, Lincoln, Landon, River and Gideon, a great grandson; Leland and by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley and William Lewis and by two sisters; Clara Mason and Louise Powell.

Funeral services honoring the life of Daniel will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 29 at the Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Bro. Andrew Thomason will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until the time of services on Thursday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
