Delilah J. “Dally” Zumbahlen, 78, of Sigel, IL passed away at home on Monday, June 24, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 28 at the Evangel United Methodist Church, 606 E. Poplar Street, Beecher City, IL with Pastor Paul Bauer officiating. Burial will take place in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in rural Beecher City, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Lockart-Green Funeral Home, 308 W. Poplar Street, Beecher City, IL. Memorials may be made in Dally’s name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.

Dally was born March 22, 1941, in Liberty Township, the daughter of Hurrell and Ione (Kramer) Doty. Dally married Charles Zumbahlen and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2006. Dally was a graduate of Sparks Business College in Shelbyville, IL and went on to spend the next 39 years working in the office at Fedders Corp in Effingham, IL. She was an active member of the Evangel United Methodist Church in Beecher City, IL where she had served as past secretary. Dally enjoyed bowling and collecting teddy bears.

Surviving are her mother, Ione Doty of Beecher City, IL; special friend, Rusty Gass of Sigel, IL; sister, Judith Doty of Fort Orange, FL; three nieces: Lilah Feuquay of Sigel, IL, Annette Wesselman of Beecher City, IL and Ginger (Virgil) Strauch of Beecher City, IL; three great nieces and two great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and husband.
