Patrick L. Kasey (66) of Windsor

Patrick L. Kasey, 66, of Windsor, Illinois passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.  

Patrick was born September 10, 1952, in Shelbyville, the son of John and Barbara (Jones) Kasey.  He was proud to be a United States Marine veteran.  Patrick and Brenda Elzy were married on October 6, 1973.  He was devoted to his wife.  He truly loved, with his whole heart, his wife and family.  He was very proud of all his grandchildren and enjoyed attending their activities.  He felt lucky and blessed to have them all part of his life.  He also enjoyed golfing, playing pool, volunteering with Peace Meals, telling jokes and was known for his sense of humor.  He was an active member of Windsor Baptist Church.   

Surviving are his wife, Brenda of Windsor; mother, Barbara Passalacqua of Neoga, children:  Blake (Amy) Kasey of Windsor, John (Mandy) Kasey of Mattoon, Jill (Mike) Stevens of Villa Grove and Kristen (Jason) Starwalt of Windsor; ten grandchildren:  Kalee, Jared, Landon, Caleb, Graham, Parker, Ian, Avery, Leah and Mathilda; sister, Leslie (Tom) Newell of Strasburg and brother, Mark Kasey of Nebraska.  

Preceding him in death were his father and brother, Mike Kasey.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Windsor Baptist Church, 406 S. Pine Street in Windsor with military honors by the Windsor American Legion Garrett-Baldridge Post #725.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Windsor Baptist Church. Memorials may be made in his name to the family.  Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting the family.
