Ina Plummer (86) of Montrose

Ina Plummer, 86, of Montrose, IL, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

According to Ina’s wishes, private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family.

Ina was born on March 9, 1932, in Arthur, IL, the daughter of John W. and Lizzie (Jones) Woolridge. She was united in marriage to Roy Leon Plummer on December 24, 1952 in Arthur, IL. Ina was a member of Woodbury United Methodist Church. She worked at the First National Bank in Toledo, IL for twenty years. She later worked for Wal-Mart in Effingham for thirteen years retiring in 2000.

Ina is survived by her husband, Roy Plummer of Montrose; two sons, Danny (wife, Jane) Plummer of Montrose and John Plummer of Sullivan; brother, Frank (Laura) Woolridge of Colorado Springs, CO; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers; and four sisters.
