James Stanley Rush, age 64, of Ingraham, Illinois passed away at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois, surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a. m. on Thursday, December 20 at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, Illinois with a one-hour viewing prior to service. Brent Bailey will be officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s research or donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed by clicking here.

James was born March 29, 1954 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of James Marion and Anna Mae (Poe) Rush. James was a life-long oil field worker. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, hunting, admiring and tinkering with old tractors.

James is survived by two sons; Jeff Weaver of Effingham, Illinois, and Chris Rush (wife, Ashley) of Louisville, Illinois; one daughter, Amber Rush (Companion, Shane Gill) of Cisne, Illinois; one sister, Twila Bannick (husband, Rick) of Dieterich, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Samantha Weaver, Jeffrey Weaver Jr., Dravin Zuber, Macey Rush, Avery Dunning, Oliver Weaver, Lennox Weaver; one nephew, Justin Bannick; one niece, Brittany Bannick, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anna Mae Rush; five uncles and one aunt.
