Clara Belle Beard, age 78, of Sigel, Illinois, passed away in her sleep the morning of Monday, October 22, 2018 at Evergreen Nursing Home in Effingham, IL.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM – Thursday, October 25 at the Montrose Cemetery in Montrose, Illinois, with Pastor Tim Bursott officiating. In loving memory of Clara, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Dieterich, Illinois. Clara Belle was born on April 18, 1940, in Dieterich Illinois, the daughter of Samuel and Velma (Lybarger) Beard. Clara Belle was a wonderful sister, aunt, daughter and friend. Clara Belle worked many years and retired from Fedders in Effingham, Illinois.
Clara Belle is survived by: Nephews she raised as her own children –Matthew (Betsy) Haynie of Effingham, Illinois, Aaron (Hillary) Beard of Sigel, Illinois; Clara Belle was proud of all her many nieces and nephews and loved them all the same; Brothers – Ed (Wanda) Beard of Neoga, Illinois.
Clara Belle was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Raymond and Samuel Garland and her longtime companion of 50 plus years, Dallas Czerwonka.
