Taylor L. Charles (24) of Dieterich

Taylor L. Charles, 24, of Dieterich, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 28 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Taylor was born on April 2, 1994, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Josh Walker and Jennifer Bean. She was married to Chase J. Charles on August 8, 2017, and he preceded her in death on July 3, 2018. Taylor graduated from Trinity High School in 2012 in Euless, Texas. She was a loving daughter and granddaughter who was beautiful, smart, and funny. She loved make-up, hair, and fashion. Taylor had a huge personality and never met a stranger. She loved animals especially her dogs, Tigger and Spenser.

Taylor is survived by her mother, Jennifer (Jackson) Bean of Quinlan, TX; her father, Josh Walker of Watson; grandmothers, Sue (Jim Treat) Cutright of Dieterich and Judy Weiffenbach of Watson; grandfather, Jack Walker of Watson; great-grandparents, Peggy Cutright and Glenn Downey both of Joliet; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chase J. Charles; and grandfather, Jeffrey Cutright.
