Mark E. Pollum, 56, of Toledo, Illinois. passed away at 8:35 a.m.,Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at his son's residence, rural Neoga.
As per the wishes of Mark, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, is in charge of arrangements. He was born December 10, 1961, Lancaster, Ohio, the son of Sue (Davis) Pollum. Mark was a former press operator for the RR Donnlley Company of Mattoon, and he served in the United States Army. He was a devoted father and was a proud member of the N.R.A.,and he enjoyed collecting guns, knives and coins. He also enjoyed being outdoors, motorcycles and hunting.
Mark leaves four children, Elias Pollum of Toledo, Briana (David) Dake of Lexington, KY, Joleen McCollum of Spanaway, WA, Joy (Mike) Morris of Brazil, IN; brothers, Stephen K. (Mary) Pollum of Humboldt and Kenneth (Rhonda) Pollum of Charleston; granddaughter, Natalie Morris.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Pollum.
