Mary Ann was born on April 30, 1959, in Effingham, IL to Frank and Margaret (Adams) Wall of Teutopolis. She was a lifelong member of St. Francis Church. Shortly after her high school graduation in 1977 she was in an automobile accident that left her paralyzed and in a wheelchair. She never let that stop her from living her life to the fullest. She was employed at Stevens Industries for over thirty years.
Mary Ann is survived by her four sisters, Kathleen (John) Dasenbrock of Teutopolis, Teresa Heuerman of Teutopolis, Ellen (Steve) Thoele of Dieterich, and Carolyn (Norm) Evans of Aurora, CO; and one brother, Charles (Judy) Wall of Teutopolis. She has 10 nieces; 7 nephews; 23 great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank Jr.; and one brother-in-law, Ronald Heuerman.
Her family would like to give a big “Thank You” to all of the doctors and support staff at Runde Clinic in Teutopolis, the Crossroads Cancer Center, and HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham for all their care and compassion throughout her life. We are forever grateful to the Stevens’ Family for all of their understanding and support throughout her years.
