Beverly Ruth Marble (75) of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan

Beverly Ruth Marble, 75, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away at 12:13 PM – Friday, December 29, 2017, at her son’s home in Newton, Illinois.

Services to honor her life will be held at 11:00 AM – Thursday, January 4 at Rose Hill Community Church in Rose Hill, Illinois with Virgil Cisney officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. In loving memory of Beverly, memorials may be made to Church of the Nazarene, 2318 Shunk Road Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan 49783. Arrangements are in the care of Meyer Funeral Home Newton, Illinois.

Beverly was born on May 8, 1942, in Allenville, Illinois, the daughter of Ray and Loretta (Krull) Key. She married Frank Marble on November 11, 1967, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Beverly was a member of the Sault Tribe Elders and the Church of the Nazarene.  She enjoyed crocheting, making baby blankets, reading and playing bingo.

Beverly is survived by: Husband of 50 years – Frank Marble of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Children – Frankie Marble of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan; Gene (Jill) Marble of Hidalgo, Illinois and Scott Marble of Newton, Illinois. Grandchildren- Tyler Marble and Darci Marble of Hidalgo, Illinois. Sisters- Laura Bell (Dave) Nottingham of Mattoon, Illinois and Barb Snider of Lerna, Illinois.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Ray & Loretta Key, brother Ray Key, father-in-law and mother-in-law Glen & Fay Marble.
