Todd was born on December 2, 1968, in Effingham, IL, the son of Danny and Lee Anne (Freepartner) Feldkamp. For most of his adult life Todd resided in the South suburbs of Chicago. He worked as a sanitation engineer for 15 years for Allied Waste Services. He and his family returned to the Effingham area in 2005. There, he and his wife, Annette, raised their two daughters, Alex and Sydney, as he solely supported the family. Through the years, Todd opened his arms and his home up to many, including, his niece, Carlie, and nephew, Josh, whom he considered his own. He grew close bonds with many especially his daughter Sydney’s long term boyfriend, Austin. Todd and his granddaughters, Adrianna and Aubriella, had a very special bond with him as well. They spent a lot of time together playing Barbies and coloring. Todd was looked at by many as the “go to guy.” He was always able to answer any question and give advice when needed. He was always there for homework help for his daughters all the way through college. His ears and heart were always open to anyone who needed someone. He enjoyed fishing with his family and long drives with his favorite music. He had a great passion for the NHRA and had built a racecar that he had driven down Route 66. Todd was a comical and sarcastic man who brought smiles to many faces.
Todd is a great loss to his family and friends. Although his death was sudden he leaves many great memories with all who loved him.
