Shelia Ann (Dust) Johnson, 71, of Osceola AR, formerly of Effingham, IL passed away at Effingham Rehabilitation and Health Center on Sunday, October 8, 2017.
A memorial service will be held for Shelia on Saturday, October 28 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Effingham, IL. Burial will be at a later date in Garden Point Cemetery, Etowah, AR. Memorials can be made to the Effingham County Humane Society.
Shelia was born June 28, 1946 to parents Lawrence and Mary (Hakman) Dust. She married William Thomas “Tommy” Johnson on December 10, 1965. He preceded her in death in 2011. Shelia was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Osceola, AR. Shelia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grand-grandmother.
She is survived by her stepson Phil (wife, Mary) Johnson of Blytheville, AR and brother Richard J. (wife, Karen) Dust of Effingham, IL. Grandchildren Britney Brussel, Sabrina Birch, Stephen Bennett, Patty Bennett, Cassie Johnson and William Johnson. Shelia is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Tiger.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-daughters Shirley Bennett and Penny Perez, and sister Sharon Likovic.
