Kay Carolyn Turck, 74, of St. Elmo, formerly of Brownstown died at 11:40 a.m. Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Aperion Care, St. Elmo.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 12 at St. Elmo Christian Church with Tom Fedrigon officiating. Burial will follow at Whitten Cemetery, Fillmore. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Gieseking-Claggett Funeral Home in Brownstown is assisting. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Aperion Care Activity Fund.

Kay was born on Friday, April 2, 1943 in Fillmore, IL to Charles and Rena (Isbell) Griffin. She married Louis Joseph Turck in Las Vegas, NV, and he preceded her in death in 1981. She was a member of the St. Elmo Christian Church. Prior to her retirement she had been employed with John Crane Packing Co. in Vandalia.

She is survived by: her daughter, Michelle (John) Stewart, St. Elmo; grandsons, Caden and Calen Stewart; brother, Jim (Rita) Griffin, Keyesport; sister-in-law, Ginny Griffin, Decatur and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
