Virginia L. Henderson, 93, of Charleston, IL, formerly of Greenup, passed away at 8:08 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Brookstone Estates in Charleston, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 23 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Block Cemetery, rural Greenup. Memorials made be made to the Donor’s Choice or the Block Church 153 County Road 1900 East, Greenup, IL 62428.

Virginia was born on August 3, 1924 in Greenup, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Gerald and Cleo (Sperry) Dunn. She married Euris Henderson on December 22, 1945. He preceded her in death in 2012. Virginia was a farmer’s wife and a homemaker. She was a member of the Block Church.

Surviving are daughters Sally D. Keller, husband Dan of Goshen, KY and Kathy S. Ferguson, husband Steve of Charleston, IL; Four grandchildren Brad, wife Amy Keller of Goshen, KY, Dani, husband Brandon Reich of Goshen, KY, Alicia, husband Michael Klabunde of Downers Grove and Amy, husband Patrick Morrow of Waco, TX; 7 great grandchildren, Caitlin & Rhiannon Marrow, Carter & Charlotte Reich, Evan & Henry Keller & Dylan Klabunde; sisters Alberta Darling of Greenup and Donna (Gene) Carlen of Greenup.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Freda Markwell.
