Donna Faye Oertwig 74, of St. Peter, Illinois passed away at 5:40pm Saturday, September 16, 2017 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 11:00am Wednesday, September 20 at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in St. Peter, Illinois, with a one hour viewing prior to the funeral. Pastor David Hoehler will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 at the Pagel Funeral Home, St. Peter, Illinois. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church or the St. Peter Cancer Support Group.

Donna was born October 27, 1942 to Irvin and Martha (Rethorn) Storck in LaClede Township in Fayette County. She married Floyd Oertwig May 27, 1961 at the St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Peter, Illinois. Donna was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church’s Ladies Aid. She loved quilting, playing cards with family and friends, gardening and attending her grandchildren’s functions. Donna was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved her children and grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her husband, Floyd; two daughters, Cindy Witto (Greg) Charleston, Illinois, Debra Fuller (Duane) Charleston, Illinois; two sisters, Sharon Brannan (Gary) of Pittsfield, Illinois and Nancy Abell of Charleston, Illinois; five grandchildren, Bernetta Fuller, Dustin Fuller (Lacey), Amanda Fuller, Joy Witto and Paul Witto all of Charleston, Illinois; three great grandchildren, Willow Fuller, Braydon Fuller and Waylon Clark all of Charleston, Illinois.

Donna was proceeded in death by her parents, two brothers in infancy and one brother-in-law, Robert.
