Patricia A. "Patty" Pruemer (77) of Teutopolis

Patricia A. “Patty” Pruemer, 77 of Teutopolis, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, surrounded by her husband and family.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. A C.C.W. rosary will be held at 3:00 p.m. followed by visitation until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Community Support Systems in Teutopolis.

Patty was born October 1, 1939 in Effingham, the daughter of Louis and Ruby (Bushue) Lidy. She married Larry F. Pruemer on June 17, 1961 and he survives. Patricia was a member of St. Francis Church, Red Hat Ladies Club, member of the Council of Catholic Women, homemaker and worked at Martins IGA. She enjoyed hummingbirds, antiquing, collecting ruby red dishes with Larry, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Patricia also enjoyed her Wednesday morning coffee club, collecting teapots and loved to read novels.
Patty is survived by her husband, Larry of Teutopolis; sons, Dale (Linda) Pruemer of Teutopolis, Wayne (Shantell) Pruemer of Dieterich; daughters, Diana (Del) Althoff of Teutopolis, Sharon (Steve) Harder of Shumway, JoEllen (Jason) Steinhebel of Canton, MI, Mary Beth (Corey) Sandschafer of Teutopolis; brother, Larry Lidy of Sherman, TX; sisters, Glenda Hartke of Effingham, Janice (Charles) Heuerman of Teutopolis and Kathy (Mike) Thoele of Teutopolis; twelve grandchildren, Maci Pruemer, Jared Pruemer, Danielle Faber, Dee Dee Althoff, Lee Althoff, Matthew Harder, Benjamin Harder, Daniel Harder, Riley Steinhebel, Julia Steinhebel, Jamie Sandschafer and Hunter Sandschafer; three great-grandchildren, Barrett Harder, Alayna Harston and Leah Faber.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents.
