Erma Fair, 89, of rural Beecher City, died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont with Pee Wee Denton officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Moccasin. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Monday. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Erma A. Fair was born on Friday, December 2, 1927 in Shelbyville to Samuel and Ethel (Luckett) Myers. She married Orville Fair in 1946. She was a retired seamstress having been employed with the Altamont Garment Factory. She was a member of the Gieseking-Schwerdtfeger VFW Post 7676 Auxiliary and the NRA.
She is survived by her special friend, Jim Outhouse of Beecher City; son, Robert ‘Sonny’ Fair of Altamont; sister, Juanita Thomilson of Sefton; granddaughter, Kari Larimer of Altamont; step grandchildren, Lisa Plumlee and Jamie Crum both of Altamont; 1 great granddaughter and 6 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dorothy Ullrich; brothers, Gerald, George, and Myron; sisters, Vaudith, Leora, and Margie; 1 granddaughter and 1 great granddaughter.
