Nicholas Adam Wurl, 28, of Chicago, formerly of Altamont died on Friday, June 9, 2017 at his home.
Private family services were held at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont with burial at Union Cemetery, Altamont. Memorials may be made to Moody Church, 1635 N. LaSalle, Chicago, IL 60614 or to the donor’s choice.

Nick was born on Monday, May 29, 1989 in Effingham, Illinois to Scott and Susie (Suckow) Wurl.
He is survived by: his parents, Scott and Susie Wurl of Altamont; brothers, Luke (Lindsey) Wurl of Champaign and Noah Wurl of Terre Haute; niece, Alex Wurl; maternal grandmother, Norma Suckow of Edgewood; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Leslie Charles Suckow and paternal grandparents, Albert and Lola Wurl.
