Louise was born June 3, 1935 in Effingham County, the daughter of Marvin and Mary (Habing) McManaway. She was a loyal employee of Effingham Truck Plaza “76” for thirty years and loved working where she could meet new people every day. After she retired, twice, she became a caregiver for numerous seniors. Louise enjoyed her grandchildren, even through her working years at “76”; she was always bringing a co-worker’s child home to take care of. She was known to many as “Grandma Weezy”. Louise just couldn't sit still, up until three years ago when the cancer took a toll.

Louise is survived by her son, Roy of Altamont; three daughters, Karen Wilkinson of Mattoon, Kathy Clarkson of Effingham and Shirley (John) Loggins of Effingham; nine grandchildren, Ryan Clarkson of Effingham, Keli Young of Bradley, Shane (Brianna) Wilkinson of Martinsville, Mayce Clarkson of Altamont, Michael Clarkson of Altamont, Kayla Willis (Anthony Swank) of Altamont, Krista Willis (Jesse Hernandez) of Effingham, Blake Willis of Effingham and Courtney Loggins of Effingham. Also surviving are thirteen great-grandchildren and her brother, Norman McManaway of Edgewood.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents; son, Art Clarkson; brothers, Otis, Cletus and Leonard McManaway; sister, Patricia Hudson and grandson, Brandon Schoonover.
