Florence was a lifelong resident of Altamont. She was born on Wednesday, May 1, 1929, in Altamont to Wilhelm ‘Bill’ Wolff and Helen Proefrock Wolff. She attended schools in Altamont where she met her husband, Fred Maurice Seales. They were married on June 21, 1953, in Altamont. Florence was baptized, confirmed, and was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altamont. Florence and Fred owned and operated the Altamont Bakery in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Florence was blessed with a beautiful singing voice, and she was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church choir for many years. She enjoyed all music, especially Sousa marches, and going to every concert and sporting event that her children and grandchildren were involved in. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles and have get-togethers with family and friends for a rousing game of dominoes or cards. She was well-known for her baking and sewing abilities and worked as a seamstress for many years.

Surviving her are her six children: April (Curly) Stuemke, Bart (Julie Kessler) Seales, Lori (Charles) McCain, Penny (Gerry) White, Dean (Lesa Stoecklin) Seales, and Emilie (Monte) Wall; Grandchildren: Kyle (Emily) Stuemke, Kenon (Stephanie) Stuemke, Kory (Emi) Stuemke, Jennifer Seales, Jordan Seales, Renee (Jamie) Beccue, Brandi (Matt Wilson) Ragan, Shelby (Adam) Robertson, Benton White, Anna White, Andrew Seales, Camden Seales, Bailee Merkel, and Summer Wall; Great Grandchildren: Brayden, Nathan, and Reed Stuemke, Brock Beccue, Nichole and Eryka Ragan, Weston and Aubree Robertson; and many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister, Viola (Floyd) McVicker, and her brother, Albert (Mildred) Wolff, and her son-in-law, Clint Merkel.
