Eleanor "Eileen" Welch, age 98 of Ingraham, IL, passed away at 9:25 am Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Flora Rehab and Health Care Center in Flora, IL.

Eileen was born July 6, 1918, the daughter of the late Oma (Musgrove) Galloway. She was employed by Hi-Low Foods in Chicago as a cashier. On July 4, 1937, she was united in marriage to Dallas Welch at the Ingraham Christian Church in Ingraham, IL. To this union two sons and one daughter were born.

She leaves to mourn her passing sons, Darrell (Dana) Welch of St. Helen's, OR, Norman (Penny) Welch of Geneva, FL; 12 grandchildren, Bret (Sheri) Goebel of Houston, TX, Philip (Susan) Goebel of Cleveland, TN, Jeff (Teresa) Goebel of Houston, TX, Sandra Welch of Sacramento, CA, Eric (Jen) Welch of Sacramento, CA, Amy Welch, Indianapolis, IN; granddaughter-in-law, Lis Goebel of Tampa, FL; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Eileen was preceded in death by her mother, husband, Dallas Welch, daughter Rita Goebel; brother, Lowell Galloway, sisters, Mabel Rude and Anna Shaner, and grandson, Gary Goebel.

Arrangements are being handled by J.W. Neal Funeral Home in Louisville where the family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 11:30 am Saturday, April 1. A celebration of life will follow at 11:30 am at the funeral home, with Interment in Ingraham Cemetery. The family requests no memorials be given.
