Anthony Wayne “Tony” Boldrey, 40, of Hardinsburg, IN formerly of Newton, IL passed away on Monday March 20, 2017 in Hardinsburg, IN.

Celebration of Tony’s life service will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday March 25 at Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, IL. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00P.M. Friday. The family requests that an expression of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Education Fund for Tony’s Children, Tristen and Madelynne Boldrey, set up at People’s State Bank 100 W. Tony was born in Olney, IL on June 26, 1976 to Dennis Boldrey and the late Roberta (Wilson) Boldrey. In 1997 he married Megan Hill, they later divorced. On November 26, 2011 he married Melissa Jean (Neidigh) Boldrey who survives. Tony graduated from Newton Community High School, class of 1995. Tony was a Seabee in the United States Navy from 1995 to 2015. After 20 years of service and multiple deployments he retired as Chief Petty Officer. He attended Syria Christian Church in Orleans, IN and was a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. Tony enjoyed riding his Harley, building just about anything, hunting, and watching action movies with his family. He also enjoyed running and had set school records in high school at Newton. Tony was the go-to person to get things done. During his military career, he coordinated the L.A.D.D. program – Leaders Against Drunk Driving. After his military career Tony worked for The Home Depot in New Albany, IN as head of the Pro Desk and was just promoted to the assistant manager position.

Tony is survived by his wife Melissa (Neidigh) Boldrey, Hardinsburg, IN; his father Dennis Boldrey, Newton, IL; one son Tristen Wayne Boldrey, Newton, IL; one daughter Madelynne Boldrey, Newton, IL; three step sons Garrett Magner, Waylon Dicus, Lane Dicus, all of Hardinsburg, IN; step daughter Audrey Magner, Hardinsburg , IN; one Brother Brian Boldrey, Newton, IL; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Alvin and Tammy Neidigh, Oblong, IL; Brothers-in-law Tate Neidigh, Oblong, IL, Chance Neidigh, Robinson, IL and sister-in law Lacey Gullett (Matthew Lewis), Fredericksburg, IN. Tony was also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother Roberta, sister-in-law Lyndsey Neidigh and Wayne Arnold who was like a father to him.
