Kenneth Uno Torma, 78, of Willow Hill, Illinois, passed away at 10:30 AM - Saturday, January 28, 2017, at his home.
Funeral services celebrating Kenneth’s life will be held at 11:00 AM – Saturday, February 11 at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service. Memorials may be made to the Meyer Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born on August 16, 1938, in Menahga, Minnesota, the son of Uno William Torma and Elma Marie (Arola) Torma. He married Carol Resch on September 1, 1981 in Sisseton, South Dakota. Kenneth was a union carpenter and retired after 32 years of service and had also farmed. Kenneth was a member of the Willow Hill United Methodist Church in Willow Hill, Illinois. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, traveling, wood working and spending time with his family.
Kenneth is survived by: Wife of 35 years – Carol Torma of Willow Hill, Illinois; Children – Kenneth William Torma, Steven Michael Torma, Justin Lee (Paige Oakley) Torma, Christopher Paul Skolte, David Allen Skolte, Gerald Duane Skolte, Samantha DeAnn (Jordan) Dhom, Brenda Marie (Aaron) Simi and Kayleen Renee Schmitz; Brothers – Ronnie Torma, Jerry (Patricia) Torma; Sisters – Carol (Bob) Machovsky, Shirley Osieczanek, Theresa (Spencer) Laukkonen, Hazel (Jim Wick) Nordstrom, Delores (Allen) Dykhoff and Joyce (Stewart) Ollila; 15 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, great grandson Phoenix Alexander Dhom, great granddaughter T’Leigha Ann Samuel and a sister Nancy Roth.
