Evelyn L. Hutchison, 86, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Fayette County Hospital - Long Term Care in Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 25 at First Christian Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Robert Francisco officiating. Burial will be at Berry Cemetery, Rural Toledo, IL, at approximately 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday at the Church. Memorials: First Christian Church, Vandalia, IL and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born December 3, 1930, in Rural Toledo, IL, the daughter of Joseph "Vernon" & Fern (Elder) Icenogle. Married Roy Eugene "Gene" Hutchison on July 18, 1948, Toledo, IL and he passed away February 15, 2002. She was a retired Manager for several area Restaurants & Homemaker. Evelyn was a member of the First Christian Church, Vandalia and graduate of Toledo High School Class of 1948.
She is survived by: Daughters - Donna Helton & Mike, Moweaqua, IL and Dianne Ledbetter & David, Saint Elmo, IL; Son - Dennis Hutchison & Melissa, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Dawn, Brett, Alisa, Mandi, Amy, Josh, Denny & Sarah; 17 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Step Grandchild - Brandon; 4 Step Great Grandchildren; Sister - Janet McKay & Kenneth, Mattoon, IL.
Preceded in death by: Husband and Brother - Harold Icenogle.
