Pat was born on January 11, 1938, in Shawnee, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, the daughter of James C. and Connie L. (Haley) Ragsdale. She graduated from St. Elmo High School in 1955. She went on to attend Sparks Business College in Shelbyville, IL. It was there, that Pat met her future husband Dwain Storm. Patricia married Dwain Loyd Storm on June 14, 1958, at the St. Elmo Assembly of God Church. She worked as an Avon sales person starting at an early age helping her mom Connie Ragsdale. She went on to become the District Manager for Avon in Decatur and the surrounding area for over 20 years. Pat was very suited for this type of work as she loved people and loved to help people. After retiring from Avon, she worked in the insurance field with AAA Insurance and later Preferred Risk. Pat and Dwain were members of Maranatha Assembly of God Church. Pat enjoyed many things in life as long as it included her husband Dwain and the boys. Pat and Dwain were involved in many church functions. Together they enjoyed many outdoor activities including camping, golfing, bowling leagues and watching their boys in sports. Later in life, Pat and Dwain loved square dancing and being surrounded by all who was involved. Pat loved her family dearly and along with her husband Dwain cherished every moment with their siblings, children, and grandchildren throughout their lives. Pat was a giver and always gave of herself whole heartily. Pat and Dwain loved all their friends that they met along their wonderful life together.
