Bruce Martin Clark, 37, of Olney and formerly of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 9:58 AM - Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at the home of his parents in Newton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM – Saturday, December 10 at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois, with Mike Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Newton, Illinois. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM – Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Bruce was born on August 24, 1979, in Olney, Illinois, the son of Bruce Martin Gardner and Karen (Baker) Gardner. Bruce was a graduate of Newton Community High School and graduated with the Class of 1997. He was a member of the Antioch Christian Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Bruce is survived by: Parents – Karen and Joe Stoops of Newton, Illinois...Daughter – Madeline Harden of Olney, Illinois...Granddaughter – Ollyve Scroggins of Olney, Illinois...Sisters – Heather Turley (Danny English) of Olney, Illinois and Amanda (Billy) Parker of Princeton, Indiana...Brothers – Ryan (Christa) Stoops of Newton, Illinois and Adam (Carla) Stoops of Newton, Illinois. Several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts also survive.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Marilyn and Roy Baker and Wilma Hintz, brother-in-law David Turley and uncle and aunt Don and Kathy Baker.
