Agnes A. Koester-Wolf, 89, of Effingham died at 2:28am Friday, November 11, 2016 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, November 16 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. A parish wake service will begin at 4pm followed by visitation until 7pm Tuesday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorial donations may be made to FISH and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Agnes was born January 9, 1927 in Teutopolis, the daughter of Albert and Mayme (Dust) Brumleve. She married Ambrose C. Koester and he preceded her in death in 1983. She then married Ernest Wolf and he preceded her in death in 1993. Agnes was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham.

Agnes is survived by her children, Roch Koester of Elizabethtown, Scott (Nancy) Koester of Ripley, OK, Dixie (Bob) Huey, Jr. of Effingham, Clay Koester of Effingham; Jeff Koester of Thompsonville, June Nunamaker of Effingham and Jude (Melissa) Koester of Shumway ; 21 grandchildren, Amy (Tom) Yocum, Matt (Beth) Koester, Pete (Dana) Koester, Andy (Amanda) Koester, Lisa (Joe) Sadler, Kris Ann (Aaron) Williamson, Jason Koester, Sydney Huey, Robert Huey, Josh (Jaylin) Koester, Katie Koester, April (Justin) Poole, Brandon (Molly) Koester, Lauren (Jasen) Clevenger, Kaylee (Jake) Boehm, Clinton Nunamaker, Shelby Nunamaker, Sam (Amber) Miller, Blaine Koester, Payton Koester and Colton Koester; 32 great-grandchildren, Brett (Shelby) Lohman, Kristin, Derek, Bailey, Jordan, Ryker, Reese, Josie, Tanner, Shelby Jean, Jonathon, Ridge, Bryer, Casey (Marin), Cory, Carly, Jarron, Kayton, Dylan, Alivia, Brock, Kamree , Kruz, Trenton, Ella, Brynlee, Lynna, Waylon, Raegen, Maverick, Avery and Jayse; and great-great-grandson, Easton; brother, Dr. Stanley Brumleve of Grand Forks, ND and sister, Mary Brumleve of Manteca, CA.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two sons, Rod A. and William R. “Bill” Koester; two brothers, Timothy and George Brumleve and sister, Elizabeth Westjohn.
