Dorothy Louise Durbin Seibert, 91, of St. Elmo, Illinois died Monday, October 17 in HSHS St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Elmo Thursday, October 20 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Kull Funeral Home, St. Elmo. A prayer service, led by Lloyd Durbin, will be held at 8 p.m. following visitation. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Cemetary, rural St. Elmo, following services. Arrangements are by Kull Funeral Home, St. Elmo. Memorials may be directed to the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in care of St. Clare Catholic Church Rectory, 216 North 9th Street, Altamont, IL 62411.

Dorothy was born August 13, 1925 in Avena Township near St. Elmo into the Christian family of Morris and Esta Guthrie-Durbin. She was raised with her siblings Dennis, Ethel, Marie, Betty, Alice and Mary. She wed John Bonaventure Siebert September 2, 1942 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Elmo. He preceded her in death March 28, 1991. Dorothy graduated from St. Elmo High School and was employed by the Effingham County Health Department and was a secretary for Ivan Boggs Oil business for a number of years. She also shared the responsbilities with her late husband in caring and raising one son and four daughters.

Dorothy leaves behind son, Paul John Seibert (St. Elmo), son-in-law Donald Lambert Beccue (Altamont), daughters, Deanna Sumrall (Lafayette, Ind.), Veronica Boose (St. Elmo, Angela Parks (Bourbonnais); sisters, Ethal Moody (Glenview), Marie Kilzer (St. Elmo), Betty (husband William Bill) Springman (Brownstown), Alice (husband Harvey) Meseke (Shobenier), Mary (husband Keith) Denton (Beecher City); sister-in-law, Donna Durbin (St. Elmo); Special Friend, Delbert Foesling (Effingham); 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Carolyn Beccue; sons-in-law, James Rich Sumrall,  Raymond Boose Jr.; brother, Dennis Durbin; two sisters in infancy; brothers-in-law, Eugene Moody, Robert Bob Kilzer; grandson, Jonathan Michael Beccue; great-grandson, Christopher Steven Beccue and his mother, Karen Sue Mahon-Beccue.
