Floyd E. Weber, 88, of Louisville, IL, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Effingham, IL.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 16 from 4-7 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Clay City, IL.  Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, October 17 at the funeral home with burial immediately following in the Ingraham Cemetery in Ingraham, IL. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society.

Floyd was born August 26, 1928 in Richland County, IL, the son of Albert Eugene and Irene Marie (Stark) Weber. He married Leona Ruth (Bateman) on April 1, 1956 in Louisville. Floyd was a lifelong farmer. He served as Bible Grove Township Supervisor for two terms and was an FSA County Committee member for many years. Additionally, he was a 4-H leader. Floyd enjoyed country music, watching RFD, raising livestock, and deer hunting. Floyd was a social person and took pleasure in meeting new people. He loved spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Jackie.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Weber of Louisville, IL; Son, Larry Weber and wife Dena of Effingham, IL; Son, Jerry Weber and wife Louise of Teutopolis, IL; Son, Dale Weber and wife Dena of Louisville, IL; Daughter, Mary Cardascio and husband Joseph of Decatur, IL; and Grandchildren, Michael Weber, Kraig Weber, Keith Weber, Rachel Weber, Benjamin Deaton, Bryce Weber, Brandon Weber, Alexander Cardascio, and Abigail Cardascio; Brother, Ralph Weber.

He was preceded in death by parents; and Brother, Ivan Weber.
