He was born October 12, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Dale Hassler and Constance Lee (Faulk) Clifton. Rob was active in the Christian ministry for 25 years, first in the communities of Worden and Alton, at First Christian Church in Flora, and most recently at Edgewood Christian Church. He was also a sales associate of Flora Lumber Company. He was a graduate of St. Louis Christian College, and Lincoln Christian University where he attained his Masters of Arts degree. His life’s work was rooted in the love, mercy, and grace of God. Rob’s family takes comfort in the decision to share the gift of life with others in need through his organ and tissue donation.

Rob was united in marriage to Joni Kay Willison on December 22, 1990, at the Clay City Christian Church. She survives. Also surviving is a daughter: Hannah Baity (husband Kyle) of Flora; three sons: Hunter, Harmon, and Holden Clifton all at home; his mother: Connie Clifton of Bedford, Indiana; a sister: Mary Summers (husband Ted) of Bedford, Indiana; father and mother-in-law: Keith and Carol Willison of Louisville; along with a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.
