Wilma J. Allen, 84, of Effingham died on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at her residence.
Cremation rites were accorded. Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.

Wilma ws born on August 2, 1932 in Jewett, the daughter of Fred and Beulah (Croy) Wicke. Wilma retired from K-Mart in Mt. Vernon. After retirement, she volunteered at the Silk Purse Thrift Store and the Cross. She was an active member of First Christian Church of Effingham.
Survivors include children Jim Allen and wife Pam of St. Peter and Susan Allen of Effingham...three grandchildren...two great-grandchildren...and one sister, Sylvia Olmstead of Charleston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
