AnnaJane Tedrick, 87, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016, at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7 at the First Christian Church in Effingham, with Rev. David McConnell officiating. Burial will be in Loy Cemetery, rural Effingham, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Fourth Street, Effingham. Memorials may be made in loving memory of AnnaJane to the First Christian Church or donor’s choice.

AnnaJane was born on July 1, 1929, in Bethany, IL, the daughter of Jess and Mabel (Rhodes) Dick. She married Wayne Tedrick on December 31, 1950 in Bethany, IL, and he preceded her in death on December 10, 1995. AnnaJane was a devoted, loving mother of six children. Over the years she enjoyed attending her great-grandchildren’s activities and ball games. AnnaJane spent many hours ironing clothes for others and also liked making ceramics at her home. One of her favorite sayings was “GO or EAT” and she would be in the car. She loved traveling with family and special friend, Pauline, no matter where it would take her. AnnaJane was also a member of the First Christian Church in Effingham.
AnnaJane is survived by her children, Joyce A. Tedrick and (Wayne Rothman) of Pepper Pike, OH, Kenneth W. (Janeen) Tedrick of Shelbyville, Rebecca M. (Robert) Harris of Altamont, Ted L. Tedrick and (Judy) of Altamont, Dave A. (Becky) Tedrick of Teutopolis, and Lisa A. (Carl) Elliott of Effingham; grandchildren, Matthew Tedrick, Christopher (Nikki) Tedrick, Amy Tedrick, Jesse (Leah) Tedrick, Anthony (Sonja) Tedrick, Brian (Amy) Tedrick, Adam (Jenna) Tedrick, and Chelsea Harris; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Jackson of Savanna and Judy Ozee of Sullivan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; granddaughter, Debra Ann Tedrick; and her sweet kitty, “Sassy.”
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and CNAs at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center for the care given to AnnaJane and also to HSHS St. Anthony’s Hospice.
